It is great to see the first phase of the Launceston Retail Park regeneration project complete, with the new units fully occupied by their new tenants.

The site forms the only out-of-town shopping area for the market town known as the ‘gateway to Cornwall’.

In this first phase of the ongoing redevelopment, the existing B&Q store was refurbished and converted into three separate retail units. This included a new extension to the structure which replaced the old garden centre area. An attenuation tank to help alleviate the risk of flooding was also installed to the rear of the units.

M&S Food, Costa and B&M have already started trading from the three new units; just in time for the festive season.

Planning works have now began for Phase Two of the project.
