‘The Barcode’ development at Drake Circus, Plymouth earned a place on the shortlist for the Structural Steel Design Awards 2020.

The Awards aim to celebrate excellence in the field of steel construction in the UK and Ireland in terms of efficiency, cost effectiveness, aesthetics, sustainability and innovation.

The complex Drake Circus structure, built on the site of the former Bretonside bus station in Plymouth city centre, features a 5505-tonne steelwork frame amounting to 32.5km in length. You can read more about the project here.
