Amy Leggett-Auld

Following her graduation from City, University of London with a MEng in Civil Engineering with Architecture, Amy joined evolve on a full-time basis having been with us part-time whilst working towards her master’s. Amy also completed a year’s industry placement with evolve as part of her undergraduate degree.

Having previously worked as a kitchen designer, bookkeeper and online trader, it was a documentary on engineering that inspired Amy to pursue a career in the construction industry. She embarked on a degree as a mature student, undertaking summer work placements in a drafting office where she learned to use CAD software, as well as helping to put together planning proposals and drafting drawings for both tender and construction.

Amy was honoured to be named a winner at the Association of Women in Property South East Student Awards in 2016, having been nominated by her university. In 2020, she was one of three finalists in the Graduate of the Year category at the BCO NextGen Awards.

In her free time, Amy can mostly be found exploring London in search of content for her blog and sampling fine wines. She is also busy honing her interor design skills in her new home.
