Jemima joined evolve in June 2021 following almost a year with AECOM, where she worked in the Bridge & Structures Department on a wide range of bridge related projects. During that time, she gained valuable on-site experience conducting bridge assessments and structural investigations.
The role with AECOM was her first since graduating from the University of Bristol in July 2020 with a MEng in Civil Engineering. With a particular affinity for structural engineering, Jemima decided to specialise in the discipline for her design and research projects as part of her master’s degree. While at university, she completed a summer internship at structural engineers Elite Designers, where she worked on smaller residential structures.
A keen cyclist, Jemima grabs the opportunity to ride whenever she can. Born and bred in London, she is used to the hectic pace of cycling in the capital and also hoping to complete the London to Brighton Cycle Ride in 2022.
Jemima really enjoys cooking and experimenting in the kitchen. She also loves playing the guitar and is now expanding her repertoire by learning to play the ukulele.
Last but certainly not least, Jemima has a very naughty Bulldog called Humphrey who we are all very eager to meet!
