Steve Gunning

Steve is a charted engineer with more than 35 years’ experience in the construction industry.  Steve has considerable experience in the design, management and delivery of a significant civil and structural engineering projects in many different market sectors, including healthcare, laboratories and pharmaceuticals, education, sports stadia, residential, retail, defence and industrial.  He has an excellent record in the successful delivery of complex projects.  He brings a practical approach to the challenges presented in construction projects.  His knowledge is enhanced by understanding the roles preformed by his fellow professionals.

Steve has an understanding of the key risks associated with major projects with the ability to highlight constraints which influence the overall project solution.  He has considerable technical knowledge and awareness of the construction industry in both the public and private sectors providing services to end user clients and contractors from feasibility to completion.

Steve has a desire to deliver projects to meet the client’s requirements and to exceed their expectations.  He will provide advice outside his own field of expertise and always seek to provide clients with a complete solution.  He believes strongly in the benefits BIM delivers for clients whilst retaining traditional values of delivering engineering information for individual projects.

Married with two grown up children and a new grand daughter. Coming to work following a win by the Wales rugby team provides great satisfaction and any team beating England is an added bonus. Enjoys walking in the Brecon Beacons and Lake District. Obtained “sea legs” through cruising on large liners.
