Tom Baird

An Imperial College graduate, Tom worked for AKT II for six years before moving to evolve in October 2021.

Taking the role of Senior Engineer, Tom brings with him considerable experience in the design and construction of new concrete and steel frame structures; the refurbishment of grade listed buildings; and deep basements.

He has worked on a variety of large scale residential and commercial projects including the hotel conversion of the old US embassy building in Grosvenor square, and the design of a luxury private residential estate in Cheshire which included the use of structural glass and a carbon fibre polymer roof.

Tom enjoys the London theatre and music scenes, and plays in an amateur orchestra. A keen runner, he completed the Manchester Marathon in 2021.
