Dave started his career on a drawing board in 1985, working within the bowels of a 22 sq. mile oil refinery. Moving to London in 1995, he spent 10 years at Arups with a focus on onshore and offshore projects before transferring to the building department. Here his work included the National Assembly for Wales, Albion Riverside and his favourite to date, LSO (London Symphony Orchestra) St Lukes.
Before joining evolve, Dave spent 12 years with Expedition where he worked on many award-winning projects including the London Velodrome, London Cable Car, Infinity Bridge, Intesa San Paolo Tower in Turin and 55 Baker Street.
Home life revolves around his two children Lauren and Ed, as Dave and his partner Anita try to create some sort of order amid the constant buzz.
A big music fan, Dave enjoys going to gigs and is a self-confessed record-buying addict. When not buried in his music, Dave can often be found in the kitchen and even had a brief stint as a commis chef at Paternoster Chop House in 2008, now better known as Channel 4’s First Dates restaurant.
Dave also loves travelling and was lucky enough to take a year out in 2003 to cross the globe with Anita. He would like to give up drinking but admits this craft beer malarkey is just too good to resist.
