Fadi Faroukh

Graduate Engineer

Fadi joined Evolve in July 2026 after completing his MEng in Civil Engineering at the University of Bristol. During his studies, Fadi developed a strong foundation in structural analysis, reinforced concrete and composite steel design, and finite element analysis. His dissertation investigated the thermal performance of green roof systems as natural thermal insulators, combining physical prototype testing with LUSAS FEA validation and DesignBuilder energy modelling - a project that shows his passion for sustainable engineering.

Before joining Evolve, Fadi worked as a Construction Planner with Bouygues UK on the Oriel Eye Hospital in King's Cross, one of London's complex live healthcare construction projects. He also worked as a Junior Structural Engineer at Size Group, designing temporary works structures for projects including large country house mansions. Earlier in his studies he completed a structural engineering internship at Giraffe Engineering, gaining experience in design calculations, structural modelling using Tekla Tedds and MasterSeries, and site inspections on residential and commercial buildings.

Fadi is a Graduate Member of IStructE and is working towards chartership.

Outside of work, Fadi is a passionate tennis player who plays whenever he gets the chance. Away from the court, he dedicates some weekends to training his younger brother in boxing, with ambitions of guiding him to become a London champion. Fadi is also an avid reader with a curiosity for ideas across everything from engineering to history, always looking to learn something new.
