Felix Crutchley

Graduate Engineer

Felix joined Evolve in June 2026 following his graduation from the University of Leeds where he earned a First-class MEng in Civil and Structural Engineering. While at University, Felix was the project manager of a scaled down project of Canary Wharf train station where he led a team of 18 peers to deliver a real construction project, gaining hands-on exposure to real engineering challenges. Felix completed a 10-week placement with the Civil/Structural Design team at Sellafield. Some of his tasks involved full design of a portal frame wind bracing under extreme 1 in 10,000-year wind loading events as well as a Pipe-bridge optioneering report.

Felix has been a lover of music his entire life and started playing the drums at the ripe age of 6, since then he has played in a couple bands. However, after realising a drum kit would irritate flat mates at university Felix began to indulge in the production and (occasional) performance of electronic music. As part of this he has begun building a collection of synths, his favourite is the Roland JX-08. h e has also begun to learn how to repair speakers.
