Ian Craig

Ian set up Evolve Consulting Engineers with fellow Director Neil Shiner in 2002. He enjoys running the business with Neil as well as working on projects.

He left Oscar Faber, where he was Director of Structural Engineering, in order to focus on structural design. Prior to this he worked at Anthony Hunts Associates, where he spent five years working in Paris, before returning to the UK to join Peter Brett Associates.

Ian has been influenced in his approach to work by Anthony Hunt, Ove Arup, James Dyson, Steve Jobs and Richard Branson. Oh and Raymond Blanc.

He feels it is imperative his team has fun away from work. For his part, he enjoys time with his family and friends. Ian likes to visit his house in France and tries to keep reasonably fit with mountain biking, hill walking excursions and running.

He will always take you up on offers to sail in the summer and watch rugby in the winter.
