Martyn Perkins

Martyn joined evolve in 2004, having previously worked for WA Fairhurst & Partners in Leeds, and Faber Maunsell in London. He is currently working on a varied range of high quality building projects in the residential, leisure, office, retail and industrial sectors.

Martyn graduated in 1998 with a first class BEng (Hons) in Civil and Structural Engineering from UMIST, Manchester and became a Chartered Engineer in 2005.

His most recent notable project has been to head the Evolve involvement in the successful delivery and completion of a £84 million new retail development in Whiteley for British Land.

Martyn is married to Nadia and together they have a young daughter and son. He enjoys spending as much time as he can playing with his children.

Before starting a family he completed 14 marathons with a personal best of 2hr 54m. This was excellent fitness training for keeping up with the children as they grow up! He also completed the Original Mountain Marathon with colleague Ian Craig in 2008 and 2009.

His other passions are watching England Rugby Union, Martyn was fortunate to have been at the 2003 World Cup Final, watching his football team Crystal Palace, F1, going on long hikes and going out on his bike when possible.
