As we move into Autumn, it is great to see work progressing on the site of our Borough Yards project in Southwark.

Located next to London’s famous Borough Market, the project includes the design and build of five mixed-use buildings incorporating a high specification workspace over double storey basement, with retained façades. The existing Victorian railway arches are being redeveloped for retail use, alongside gallery and creative spaces, restaurants and cinema in the basement. A major public realm scheme will also greatly enhance the surrounding area, redefining the medieval street pattern for contemporary times.

As it stands, finishing touches are being applied to the new retail units under the original arches. Both arch support structures which will form the new Dirty Lane walkway have been installed, while the buildings which will provide mixed-use retail and office space have reached their full heights.
